How Texanna Belles Started

Hi, I'm Olivia. I started Texanna Belles in 2019. At the time, it was just a dream, and a cute lil' booth at trade shows. I loved turquoise, the artistry involved, and the western industry, and I knew I wanted to build something of my own. That part ran in the family. My dad was a business owner as well. He lived and breathed work, and fully supported all of my wild ideas.

Meeting My Cowboy

In 2020, I was set up at a farm show in Oklahoma with my own booth. My now husband, Austin, was also set up at the same trade show. He is the sales manager of his family's cattle equipment business. On the first day of the show, a little blue merle border collie showed up in my booth to "say hi" to me. That was his move, and honestly? It worked. I, in an effort to figure out if he was taken, tried to sell him some jewelry. He then very boldly told me he had nobody to buy jewelry for, so of course I sold him a pendant for his dog. He then thought he was being smooth by giving me his phone number "for the receipt", but it didn't quite work like that. From that day on, we've been inseparable.

The Hard Year

In 2021, I lost my dad. He was my biggest supporter. He believed in my business before it was anything. He shared the same passion I had for building something real. He helped me get my feet under me in those early days. Losing him was the hardest thing I've ever walked through, but I kept building, I kept showing up, because this business wasn't just jewelry it was something we believed in.

That same year, I also lost the rig I had been using to haul to trade shows. The way I had built the business suddenly wasn’t available anymore. So I adapted. I learned how to grow online, and that hard season stretched me in ways I didn’t know I was capable of.That year changed me. It taught me resilience.

Before all of that, my mom had been steady beside me in her own way. She might not have loved the artistry like my dad did, but she showed up. She helped with trade shows. Drove with me. Wandered antique shops looking for the perfect pieces to make my booth feel like home. She supported the dream because she supported me.Through all this, Austin and I dated long distance for 3 years, as we struggled to find land in Nebraska we could call home. I remember the day I got that phone call, telling me he had found an old farm place that could fit me...and all the animals I was bringing with me!

The Way We Work

We closed on April 10, 2023; he proposed on May 8th, 2023, on his grandma's farm, and we got married here on our new land on June 3rd, 2023. I made the big move from Oklahoma to Nebraska that month, and we began building this life together, not just personally but professionally. Texanna Belles grew right alongside us. My husband always jokes that he works 3 jobs. He works in the mornings for a big feedyard, sells cattle equipment during the day, then he "works for me" in the evenings.

I'm the artist, creative one, the face of the company, but behind the scenes, he's there for everything. Packing orders at the kitchen table. Hauling mail bins into town. Running numbers. Making dinner when I’m buried in invoices late into the night.Jumping in when I need him. I love the front of the business. He loves the back of it. I love the artistry, he loves the logistics. And together we continue to grow this business. We eat, sleep, and breathe the western industry, not just as a brand but as a lifestyle.

Texanna Belles grows as we grow. Through loss. Through love.Through long nights and early mornings. When you support this business, you’re not supporting a trend or a corporation. You’re supporting two people with a dream who care deeply about what they do. And that means more to us than we could ever put into words.
